Overview

BSc Radiotherapy and Oncology is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which means you can register with them when you graduate. The BSc Radiotherapy and Oncology course has a strong practical focus. We use evidence-based learning, simulations, and highly specialised equipment such as the Virtual Linear Accelerator (VERT) and Eclipse radiotherapy planning system to deepen your understanding and skills.

During your studies, you’ll learn the theory of good professional practice, explore the science that underpins it, and develop strong inter-professional and interpersonal skills.

  • GCSE: Grade C/4 or above in English Language or Literature, Mathematics and Double Science, or equivalent. We do not accept Level 2 Key Skills, Functional Skills or Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy as alternatives to GCSEs.
