IHM Package Course – Accelerated Pathway to Advanced Nursing

The IHM Package Course offers a streamlined and strategic pathway for healthcare professionals seeking to advance their careers. By completing the Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing (Australian Nursing Practice), students become eligible for credit towards the Master of Nursing, allowing them to fast-track their academic and professional journey.

This integrated pathway is designed to provide in-depth clinical knowledge, practical expertise, and academic advancement—preparing graduates for higher-level roles in the healthcare sector.

This program offers a streamlined, efficient, and future-focused pathway for nurses seeking career progression and global opportunities.

Students may be eligible for an English language requirement waiver if they have completed, or partially completed, an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 5 or higher qualification from a recognised institution, with a minimum study duration of one year full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Entry Requirement

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have completed a Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent qualification, or

  • Hold a three-year Diploma of Nursing with a minimum of one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Applicants must also meet one of the following registration requirements:

  • Be currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, or

  • Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the nursing regulatory authority in their country of origin or current residence.

Candidates who meet these criteria are eligible to enrol in the program and may proceed toward the Outcomes-Based Assessment (OBA) pathway as applicable.
